This lamp was purchased brand new from Sears in Waterbury, CT in 1974, and is offered for sale by original owner. Mid century modern vintage thick frosted crackle glass cube and genuine cork base lamp is 12 3/4" high and 8" in length and width. It takes up to a 60 watt light bulb and casts a wonderful, bright glow. (It looks a little like a giant ice cube.) On/off switch on cord works perfectly. Lamp was plugged into an outlet that is controlled by a wall switch, so the lamp switch was almost never used. Lamp still has original round grey felt on bottom. (Original black paint [on sides of 3/4" high frame beneath cork base] extends slightly onto underside edges of beige colored bottom. ) Lamp is in clean, excellent condition, with no cracks or chips.
