The base is white metal with the on/off knob sitting just below the collar. It is marked with a tag which reads Laurel Lamp Co on the interior near the socket (which is mounted at a bit of an angle but this does not effect the lighting). The satiny white glass shade is in great condition with just a bit of scuffing at the top (see photo) which we have not tried to remove. The base is approx. 5 1/4" high and the globe is approx 12 1/2" across. Overall height is about 11 1/2". ***We have guess-timated size and weight of this package but we only charge actual shipping so if we are over we gladly refund the difference*** Local pick-up is always welcome.
