Item Description: For your consideration is an UNIQUE and RARE Atomic Space Age Mid-Century Modern Eames Era (1950-60's) Flying Saucer UFO Disk Arch Arc 1/2 Moon Table Lamp! This is made of metal with White Diffuser Metal Mesh Disks on top and under the bulbs to diffuse the light somewhat! Click on/off button on the weighted base. Fits Two Bulbs. The Saucer Shade rotates completely, and is able to be positioned in different places (by adjusting the screw at the top.) It is a Gunmetal Gray Metallic Finish... With a chrome underlayer (Very cool color, was probably painted over the chrome at some point in time... but looks like it belongs that way!) This lamp is truly UNIQUE (I cannot find another for sale anywhere at this time... Get a 1 of a kind STAND OUT LAMP!) The lamp stands approx. 19" (Inches) Tall and is 21"(Inches) at the Widest point (edge of arc to edge of shade) and an 8"(Inch) Base. Do NOT miss your chance at an Amazingly UNIQUE lamp! Condition: Very Good Vintage Condition. Some minor dings, scratches, and light discoloration... as expected with any vintage items. (See the LAST TWO PHOTOS 11/12.) One area on the top diffuser has some rust discoloration(could easily be touched up with white paint or possibly removed with CLR...Rust Remover. This is not rusted through... just discolored.) Shade has a couple small dings which may be able to be reshaped back to original, not too bad. Also, a few light scratches to the finish, again may be able to re-touch with paint. WORKING CONDITION. The cord was re-wired at some point and will probably need to be re-done again to be 100% Safe (I was perfectly comfortable plugging it in and not worried, but want you to be aware for safety purposes, I am not a professional electrician.)
