WOW! For your consideration, a beautiful cased blown glass lamp by the renowned Laurel Lamp Company. Circa 1970s, this lamp is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or evidence of prior repair and is in good working order with the switch located on the cord (wired for North American outlets but should be easily rewired for overseas). There is some age related debris inside the base of the lamp that I cannot get out but it can be cleaned by a professional as the lamp kit might need to be removed. The debris is hardly noticeable unless you are looking down the interior of the shade to the base or right on top of the lamp, as seen in picture 2. The lamp still has the original Laurel label on the underside. I call this lamp "VERY RARE" because after very extensive internet research I cannot find another Laurel lamp exactly like this one yet the shape, quality, and label clearly identify it as Laurel. The lamp is composed of one piece of cased blown glass, essentially a lamp shaped vase if you will, with the lamp kit in the base. The entire piece lights up and features a beautiful asymmetrical rainbow stripe. The lamp appears to be inspired by the Kosta Boda rainbow pieces designed by Bertil Vallien, which also features white glass with blown glass rainbow stripes (or perhaps Laurel inspired Kosta Boda?).
