Offering one of two spectacular vintage circa 1940s or 1950s ceramic Blackamoor or black figure genie lamps on sale in separate auctions this week. (Please note the shade is a display prop only and is NOT INCLUDED in this auction! Thank you!) The lamp is unmarked, but could be Royal Copley. Lamp has a gorgeous predominantly jadeite or chartreuse green glaze with that serene, powerful facial expression, a turban with pendant over a neck scarf, and a beaded head ornament. There is no damage to the piece. This truly fabulous lamp measures 13 1/2" high to the top of the socket and has been rewired. A superb and evocative piece, it emanates mystery with an amazing vintage vibe and presence both lit and unlit. A work of art from every angle and truly splendid in every way! We have a smaller companion lamp in our other store offerings--not a matching piece, but would make an amazing set or grouping together. Fabu-lamps! 1.
