Up for auction is this unique vintage parlor lamp. Very large for a parlor lamp, it was made somewhere in the 20th century, we are guessing from 50s or 60s. In very good condition, working as can be seen on pictures. both base and share are electrified, and driven by a 3 position light switch. We did not have appropriate size bulb to replace the one on the bottom (in the base) but the construct can be seen on the last picture. This beautiful lamp features hand-painted rose flower decoration pattern with interleaving leaves and is beige, green and rose in color, more pronounced at the edges and fading into the neck of the shade and middle of the base. The lamp measures: Height 24" , With chimney 26" Shade: Width 13.5" at the widest point, Height: 11" Fitter opening up top is 7 1/4" The ring is 10" in diameter Base with ring is 14" high Chimney itself is 14" high. No damage whatsoever, some small flea bites at the rim by the fitter ring, not visible when on the base. No cracks or other damage we can see on this immaculate piece. The lamp can be used as a table lamp or be placed on the stand anywhere. We hope it can find its new home where it can be enjoyed and cared for for many more year.
